Do you charge VAT?

Yes we do, generally a lot of print products are zero rated (VAT exempt), some products that are normally zero rated can be made standard rated depending on what is printed on them for example, leaflets do not normally have vat added, however if it was offering a discount or had an area to be filled in by the recipient then it would have the standard rate of VAT applied. If VAT is applicable to the product in question then this will be applied at checkout. If there are any changes depending on the design supplied then we will contact you.

I am not VAT registered, do I still pay VAT?

Everybody pays VAT at the standard rate on products that qualify for VAT. If you are a vat registered company then you will be able to claim the VAT back.

I have found an alternative printer that does not charge any VAT, why is this?

If a business reaches or exceeds the VAT threshold set by the government, it becomes compulsory to charge VAT on relevant products. Companies that do not charge VAT are likely to be a small business with a low turnover. Printers charging VAT are likely to be larger companies that are established and as such are more likely to offer a professional service.
